Ephesians 1:7 says, “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.”

In the epistle to the Ephesians, Paul develops a theology that gives us a cosmic understanding of the special revelation of Jesus Christ. The church is a congregation of people who represent human beings past, present, and future; its boundaries stretch to heaven.

Paul is in a Roman prison when he writes this letter; and there are those who consider this letter to the Ephesians, the most magnificent letter of all his writing.
