Mark 4:20 says, “But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”
The text here is a record of words that Jesus spoke. Jesus was with his disciples traveling throughout Galilee and Capernaum preaching and teaching.
And, this verse which is part , of what I will call, the parable of the sower, reveals that Jesus could see into, and read the inner working of our hearts and minds.
It’s as though his ministry on earth sought to illuminate and therefore help us develop our inner person; that is, our hearts and minds in relation to our souls.
