Jordan, who typically remained silent on social issues during his playing days, spoke out this week about George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis.

“I am deeply saddened, truly pained and plain angry. I see and feel everyone’s pain, outrage and frustration. I stand with those who are calling out the ingrained racism and violence toward people of color in our country. We have had enough” , said Michael Jordan.

Jordan joins the many black celebrities and athletes that haven’t just talked about change, but done something to push us another step closer to it.
