Simone Biles nails signature dismount, now known as ‘The Biles’

Simone Biles competes on the balance beam at women’s all-around gymnastics at Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Simone Biles is already a living legend in the world of U.S.A. gymnastics, but now the decorated Olympian will have two moves named after her.

Biles and the rest of Team U.S.A. competed in Germany for the world championships on Saturday, and she executed a perfect double-double dismount on the balance beam and a triple-double in her floor routine. The double-double will now be known as “The Biles,” and the triple-double as “The Biles II” (because she already has a floor element named after her — and one in vault, too).

There you have it, folks! @Simone_Biles successfully landed her signature double-double dismount on beam today and the element will be named the “Biles” from now on. #Stuttgart2019 4,9493:45 PM – Oct 5, 2019Twitter Ads info and privacy1,238 people are talking about this
